Join us for a special evening with bestselling author Wally Lamb, in conversation with Rick Koster of The Day. He’ll discuss his newest novel, The River Is Waiting—a powerful story of a young father seeking redemption after unimaginable loss.
This unforgettable event is part of our 2025 Annual Fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the Mystic & Noank Library. We’re grateful to Snediker Yacht Restoration for generously hosting us at their beautiful Old Mystic location.
Wally Lamb is the beloved author of She’s Come Undone and I Know This Much Is True – both Oprah Book Club picks – and a master storyteller known for his unforgettable characters and deeply human themes.
The evening begins with a reception from 5:00–6:00 PM, featuring drinks and hors d’oeuvres, followed by the author talk from 6:00–7:00 PM. Snediker Yacht Restoration is located at 35 Campground Road in Old Mystic, CT.
Tickets for this exclusive occasion are priced at $125 per person and include the reception. Due to limited space, we anticipate a sold-out gathering for this highly anticipated and exceptional event. Sponsorships for this event are available as well.
